One of the classes I've become most inspired by in my five years of attending [school name] is my Humanities class with Mr. [teacher name]. At the beginning of the year, Humanities was a foreign subject to me, something I figured would be a good way to catch a break from the AP classes and honors courses required here. As the year has progressed and we’ve completed activities such as building temples to better understand the world of the ancient Greeks or writing a 12-page research paper on the extremism and misconceptions experienced in the religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, which have all opened my eyes to many things. Whether it’s current events going on in my world today or even important aspects of the cultural arts world from centuries ago, my Humanities class has been one that has engaged me, interested me, and motivated me for the better.
